Thank you for your patience.  Our phone service has been restored to normal and our main number, 860-627-1495 is now working.

IMPORTANT:  Please use 860-627-1499 today (Monday, November 17) if you need to call the library.  Our primary number (860-627-1495) is disconnecting after 1 or 2 rings and not going to voice mail.  We have a call in to our service provider and hopefully the situation will be resolved soon!  Thank you for your patience.

We are open today and ready to serve your reading and technology needs.  We continue to experience problems with our online catalog and circulation system (all 30+ libraries in our consortium are experiencing slowdowns or are unable to access our records), but we are here to serve you in whatever ways we can.  Internet access is available for the public and we can check out materials, answer reference questions, and more.  Stop down!

We will be closed Saturday, August 30 through Monday September 1 for Labor Day weekend.  Have a great holiday!

Please take care if you use the book drop over the long weekend.  Sometimes it gets overfilled and materials are left where they can easily be taken by anyone passing by.  The borrower is responsible for materials that are not secured, so if the drop appears to be full please do not leave your books or DVDs.  Call us on Tuesday if you have had a problem with the book drop and your materials are overdue as a result.

Remember, nothing is due over the holiday weekend, so why not wait until Tuesday and stop in and see us in person instead of using the book drop?

Due to high demand, we have decided to limit borrowing of our State Parks pass to once per month per Windsor Locks family.  If you haven't borrowed the pass during a calendar month, you may call ahead to have us hold it for you for up to one hour.  If you have already borrowed the pass but it is still available just before closing on a Saturday we will allow you to take it a second time.

We apologize for having to restrict the pass this way, but we do feel that it will give every Windsor Locks Library card holder a better chance at borrowing it, especially since it is our most popular pass.

This policy does not apply to any of our other passes.
