FREADING, ANYONE?

Windsor Locks Public Library has joined a small group of libraries across North American that offer the innovative Freading eBook service.  This new service, available at https://windsorlockslibrary.freading.com, increases the size and diversity of our eBook collection and, best of all, does not require our borrowers to wait in line to download!  Freading has its own apps for iPad and iPhone, and for Android tablets and phones.  It is also compatible with he Kindle Fire, Nook, and Kobo devices.

Freading delivers great content, compatibility with many devices, and simplicity of use.  We think that it will be very popular with our patrons.  Visit our home page at www.windsorlockslibrary.org and click on the Freading logo to get started, or go directly to https://windsorlockslibrary.freading.com.  All you need is your Windsor Locks Library card!

CLOSING WEDNESDAY JULY 18

We will be closed to the public on Wednesday, July 18 due to construction in the library.  Staff will be available to answer the phone and to empty the book drop, so any items that are due may be returned to the book drop.  We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your cooperation.  Please visit www.windsorlockslibrary.org to renew books (DVDs and museum passes are not renewable), access our databases, or check on programs.  The Christie Capers Book Club will be held as usual in the community room at 6:30 PM.  Please use the Community Room entrance.
